A new member is sworn in to the Neosho city council.
Angela Thomas has been appointed to take over the seat left vacant by Ben Baker, who was elected back in November to serve in the Missouri State House. Thomas has been a prominent community member for 15 years as a business woman, and now she wants to continue helping the Neosho community in politics.
“You are starting something that’s new and I just want to be sure I can do my best and learn all of the in’s and out’s. And do well for the community,” says Thomas.
She started her official duties tonight by listening to new business and approving ordinances.
