MISSOURI – Mental health is the target of a new law supporting our nation’s police officers

U.S. Senator Josh Hawley’s Treating Officers in Crisis Act was signed by President Donald Trump.

It restores grant funding for law enforcement support services. The act also allows grant recipients to use funds to establish suicide prevention programs and mental health services for police.

There were a multitude of co-sponsors for the bill from across the United States.
