Crowder College in Neosho renames the Maret Center in honor of Missouri U.S. Senator Roy Blunt.
Its called “Roy Blunt Center for Missouri Alternative and Renewable Energy Technology.” Crowder College President Dr. Jennifer Methvin says the facility was named after him because of his support for the college and its alternative energy program. She adds he was a huge part in securing funding for the facility. Blunt says he’s honored to have been part of the Maret Center over the years.
“How innovated this building is, how you have both the education process and real hands on research going on at the same time.” Says Missouri State Senator R. Roy Blunt.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Missouri Legislature’s Designation of Crowder College’s Maret Center and the fifth anniversary of the Physical Building Housing its programming.
