Nevada PD buys new body cameras

News

NEVADA, Mo. — The Nevada Police Department is getting new body cameras.

The department was awarded a local law enforcement block grant of nearly $10,000 from the Missouri Department of Public Safety. The grant will allow them to purchase 16 Axon body worn cameras and docking stations for the uniformed patrol division.

This will replace the current body cameras the department got back in 2016.
