The city of Neosho is working to make downtown look a little more beautiful while showcasing local businesses.
At no cost to the city, a marketing company, CGI Communications is awarding all-American cities with outdoor displays to show off the community. Neosho was one of 10 cities to win the honor in 1957. The displays for Neosho will be banners that hang on the light posts around the downtown square.
“The addition of these colorful banners will certainly have a positive impact on people coming into the downtown area,” says Paul Richardson.
Neosho businesses can sponsor a banner and have the logo put on it. CGI will work with locally-owned companies to print and install the banners.
