Emergency management personnel in Neosho County say they’re also bracing for more flooding from Wednesday night’s storms.
At the moment, the Neosho River has flooded out of its banks, threatening several homes. First responders say while they aren’t aware of any flooded homes at the moment, several residents have already pre-evacuated in anticipation of the high water. Along with that, high waters have also caused the county to begin conserving water in rural water districts. Officials say a facility in Wilson County was flooded out, leading to the conservation efforts.
