Needle Exchange Bill Passes Missouri House

The Missouri House has voted to support a measure providing clean needles for drug users.

House Bill 168 would legalize the needle exchange program which already exists in some parts of the state. Supporters say it could help reduce needle sharing as well as the overall rate of drug abuse. The measure was approved in the House and has been referred to committee in the Senate.
