The event supported the Freeman Health System’s Bill and Virginia Lefen Center.
That facility specializes in treatments for people with autism.
More than 600 hundred people walked at the MSSU Fred G. Hughes stadium.
With about 37-thousand dollars raised.
This year’s theme “The Wizard of Oz” got many families in the spirit.
“Buffalo was nearly wiped to extinction in the past. So now we just kind of want to bring that to the forefront and understand it’s importance in the eco system.” said Christopher Michael Mantle, Tulsa Artist
“I think that people love the fun of seeing a muralist paint. They love the idea of the event just kind of an artsy event for the town.” said Marci Johnson, Director of Libraries Art and Culture
Johnson adds this is the biggest turnout the event has had since its start in 2016.
