Students at Missouri Southern State University get a chance to meet future employers.
More than 120 organizations gathered together under one roof to meet students in their freshman year and even those in their senior year. The job fair has been going on for many years at the school and organizers say it gets bigger and better each time. This could be just the beginning of a job hunt for some, or it could be the chance they’ve been waiting for.
“Freshman sophomores will probably check out their fields juniors are looking for those job opportunities or possibly a part time job and those seniors who are going to graduate in a few weeks this is make it or break it time, they’re here to find their career,” says Shakira Rhoads, assistant director of Career Services.
Rhoads adds businesses from the Four States as well as across the nation were all available for students seeking a job.
