MSSU receives nearly 70 applications for University President position

JOPLIN, Mo. — Although the classrooms are empty at Missouri Southern, the search for a new school leader continues.

MSSU officials say nearly seventy applications have been received for the next President of the University.

An advisory committee presented the Board of Governors a list of recommended semi-finalists on Thursday.

Officials are working via digital conferencing to continue to narrow down the pool.

Interviews will start mid-April.
