Classes will take a break at Missouri Southern Monday – but there some special events planned in honor of Martin Luther King Junior Day.

The annual MLK Breakfast will center on the theme “Protect the Dream: the Fierce Urgency of Now.” Doors open at 7:30 am at the Billingsly Student Center ballroom with the meal from eight to nine thirty.

It costs ten dollars and is free for MSSU students and children under five. That will then be followed up by a day of service with sessions running from ten to four.

There are several volunteer opportunities – we’ve got a link to the list here.
