“Vivid: The Fine Arts Magazine” is produced by students in the Department of Communication at the University. It took more than eight months of planning, designing, interviews, and writing to get a final print ready. This edition features a profile of an artist, a first-person narrative, and an exclusive update on plans for a downtown arts district.
“I was really impressed with their dedication, and I’m continually impressed with the amount of talent these guys have. To come in and learn that technology of using, in design and the Adobe creative sweep, but just the inventiveness they have and the dedication,” said Olive Sullivan, editor and advisor.
To celebrate, they are hosting their launch party at the focal point gallery at 521 S. Main Street until 7 p.m. Friday night. Copies of the new issue will be provided to anyone interested. For an online copy of the magazine, click here.
