More flowers coming to the Flower Box City to beautify the town

The City of Neosho is “Bringing Back the Bloom.”

The Neosho Chamber of Commerce has collaborated with the FAA to revitalize the city by bringing in more flowers.
The city recieved a donation of 65 flower baskets from K&S Wire, a manufacturing company in the area, and plans to use them to decorate downtown.
City leaders are saying the project is a great way for the city to get back to its roots
“We just kind of wanted to bring that pride back, and you can definetly see it. Everywhere I go, people are excited about it. I think it’s just going to bring people together and beautify the town and bring a lot of community pride. So, we’re excited about it, it’s going to be a beautiful thing,” says Lauri Lyerla, Exec. Dir, Neosho Chamber of Commerce.
In additon, the town has plans to refurbish “The World’s Largest Flower Box.”
Upon it’s completion, the flower box will have the flowers replanted as well as new signage.
