Monett Teen Arrested for Terrorist Threat

A teen is behind bars after officers say he made threats at Monett high school.

Officers say Alejandro Gonzalez, 17, of Monett, was found in possession of a weapon and spent ammunition. Officers say they were contacted Monday in reference to a possible threat of a school shooting that was sent through social media. The school was under lock down for around an hour while Gonzalez was taken into custody. He is being held at the monett justice center on a charge of terrorist threat first degree with a $10,000 bond.
