MO sees revenues drop

State coffers took a big hit last month.

The state of Missouri saw a drop of 24 percent in a month-to-month comparison in January. That totals a decrease of more than a quarter of a billion dollars.

The biggest factors were individual income tax collections, which dropped by nearly a third. Year-to-date numbers show the state is now $380 million dollars behind the previous year.
