Students meet face to face with potential employers on the campus MSSU.
The annual spring career fair was held inside the leggett and platt center. Career services director Alex Gandy says the event is a win-win for both students and employers.
“And for you to get your foot in the door just to articulate your knowledge, skills and abilities, and make that personal connection is fantastic, and even for employers to start recruiting talent, a lot of our employers give us comments and feedback how they like to see students, whether or not they’ve seen their application, they want to start building that rapport, and they want to start understanding and getting to know that student ahead of the application,” says Gandy.
Gandy says a record number of 120 employers participated in today’s event.
