Missouri minimum wage to increase by first of the year

News
Starting January 1st, 2017, minimum wage in the Show Me State will increase by five cents to $7.70 an hour. It’s been at $7.65 for the past two years.

According to the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, any retail or service business with annual gross sales under $500,000 will not have to abide by the new hourly wage. The new wage is the result of a rise in cost of living in Missouri.
