The city of Miami was full of residents and vendors getting ready for Fall.
Saturday was the final day for Miami’s annual FestiFALL celebration throughout the city. Some of the events lined up for today are the Wardog Chili Cookoff, live entertainment, the Miami Arts and Humanities Walk, and the Sidewalk Sale along Main Street. One Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce Member was excited to see the turn out despite the dreary conditions.
“ii feels great to know that we have a community that supports the arts and crafts and our vendors and our businesses downtown. You know, it’s a great economic boost for shoppers. I love seeing their faces.” says Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Chamber Operations Brandy Smith.
Miami has had their FestiFALL event every year for the nearly eighty years, but has been moved to September within the last six years.
