Organizations seeking to keep trees within their community thriving may have help from the Missouri Government

   The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering non-profit groups and local government departments a chance to apply for Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance grants. These are cost-share grants that a will help pay up to sixty percent of projects that are designed to help the city’s tree population.This could be used to for pruning, planting, or management of a communitee’s trees. Any organization or government department wishing to receive trim grant money must have their application completed by June 7th.
