McDonald’s starts fundraising for Ronald McDonald House

If you decide to go to your local McDonald’s in person, you can help out the house that love built while you’re ordering your food.

It’s part of a nationwide campaign to raise money for Ronald McDonald Houses across the country. Twenty five Four State stores are taking part and donating all the proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House of the Four States.

Customers have the option of donating a dollar, three dollars or five dollars to the effort. Those who do, get to sign squares that are put up inside each restaurant. For one local general manager, the effort hits close to home.

“It’s awesome cause I actually was there when my daughter was young and you know just to have somebody there to help you is an awesome thing and how people care, it’s a beautiful thing,” says Tammy Munoz, McClelland Store General Manager.

The campaign runs through December the 9th and is in addition to customers being able to donate spare change to the same charity.
