McDonald county commissioners are stopping recycling program

News

McDonald county commissioners are stopping the recycling program until further notice.

Commissioner John Bunch tells us that there is not enough people using the program and they are running out of revenue to keep it going. The recycled materials have been going to Noel and Neosho’s centers, which are owned by the same company.  Bunch says it’s not working out and they are looking to come up with another solution.

There will be a meeting with the company, Region M, where commissioners will discuss possible options.
