Man was a passenger in a vehicle that was fleeing police from a traffic stop

(Joplin, Mo. East Town Neighborhood) — Vehicle fled police in a routine traffic stop. It fled to the East Town Neighborhood.

As the passenger car approached East North St and N School Ave the adult male exited the vehicle and hit his head according to eyewitnesses.

He was transported to an area hospital and his status is unkown at this time.
