Jasper County authorities asking for help in identifying Harps shooting suspects

CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — An investigation continues in Jasper County after two people were shot Thursday in Airport Drive.

It happened around 1:30 on the North end of the Harps parking lot. Neighbors told deputies they heard an exchange of gunfire. Deputies and detectives found shell casings at the scene, along with other evidence.

They would later discover that two people, a 22-year-old Webb City woman, and a 33-year old California man, were at a hospital with non-life threatening gunshot injuries.

Both were determined to be the victims.

As for the suspects, detectives say there are possibly two at this time, both men. They’re also searching for the vehicle they were in. A dark red Kia SUV 4-door, possibly a “Sorrento.”
