This was a single vehicle crash according to Trooper B.R. Dobson from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash of the 6-wheeler snowplow, “occurred as the vehicle…attempted to make a u turn and overturned.” This happened at 5:40 AM at the intersection of US-60 and County Road W in Newton County. Approximately 4 miles east of Granby.
The 59-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he was released a short time later.
MoDot state on twitter, “A MoDOT snowplow rolled onto its side this morning along Route 60 east of
#Granby. The truck has been uprighted and moved off the road. The driver suffered minor injuries thankfully.”
