MO-43 traffic signal taken out by DWI driver

Kayla M. Sause, 26, Joplin arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and released at the Newton Co jail.  Stemming from charges in a single vehicle crash at 2:10 AM, Wednesday morning. 

Trooper D. B.  Carnagey of the @motrooper states in a report  Sause was the single occupant of a 2018 Ford Focus traveling northbound on MO-43. About I mile south of Joplin she ran off the roadway, striking two light poles, at the intersection of MO-43 and Douglas Fir Road.

She was transported to Freeman Hospital and treated for minor injuries. 

Now charged with: DWI, Careless and imprudent driving causing an accident, failure to register a vehicle and failure to prove insurance.
