PUMPKIN SPICE CAKE W/MAPLE FROSTING
3 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
1 1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
1 1/2 TSP SALT
1 1/2 TABLESPOONS GARAM MASALA (OR SUBSTITUTE PUMPKIN PIE SPICE OR CHINESE 5 SPICE)
1 1/2 CUPS BROWN SUGAR
1 1/2 CUPS GRANULATED SUGAR
3 STICKS MELTED UNSALTED BUTTER (1 1/2 CUPS.) DON’T SWEAT IT IF YOU ONLY HAVE ‘SALTED’ BUTTER.
6 LARGE EGGS
28 OUNCE CAN PURE PUMPKIN PUREE, 3 CUPS. (NOT PUMPKIN “PIE FILLING”)

BAKE ON 350 DEGREES.
