Business owners and residents alike broke out their 70’s outfits for a business expo with a groovy twist.
The Carl Junction Chamber of Commerce’s Disco Expo Inferno brought out hundreds of people.
After Friday night’s business mixer, the event opened it’s doors to the public Saturday, showcasing more than 50 local vendors.
Residents could buy items, sign themselves up for new experiences, or just enjoying the music.
“I would say the point of doing something like this is to let the community know the different businesses that are around the community. Not just Carl, not just Webb, not just Joplin, but bringing everyone together to see exactly what the surrounding areas has to offer,” says Carl Junction Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Director, Ashley Butcher.
This is the 3rd time the chamber has held the business expo, and every year there’s a new theme to spice up the event.
