Live Well Crawford County helps three Pittsburg schools keep your kids a little healthier.

The organization gave the school district a check for $20 thousand dollars today to purchase and install water bottle fill stations at Pittsburg Middle School, Lakeside Elementary School and West Side Elementary School. Live Well Crawford County executive director Brad Stroud says having the fill stations will help improve health in a lot of ways.

“You know, there’s a lot less spread of germs. The spread of germs at water fountains, you know, can spread sickness, things like that, but also just staying hydrated throughout the day,” says Brad Stroud.

$10 thousand dollars of that money will be used for fill stations at the middle school. The remaining funds will be split between Lakeside Elementary and West Side Elementary.
