A Little Rock man has developed and launched an app that allows users to order a truck to be brought to them for use of pickup, delivery, hauling and loading.

Mario Settles developed “trukPLEASE”, an app for people who need to use a truck.

He says the Little Rock Tech Park was a huge tool in developing this app.

He came up with the app after buying a big TV, then realizing he needed help.

“Of course I have a small car, and you couldn’t get it home. You post it on Facebook ‘Does anybody have a truck?’ you know? You call your friends, your brother, nobody answers, and you can’t get the TV. So, I think they should have an app for that,” Settles says.

The concept is similar to ride-sharing apps like Uber.

The app went live in the Apple App Store Friday.
