Kids are finding balance and mindfulness through yoga.
Several kids and parents participated as Amanda Tiberghien of Four States Yoga led the class at Wildcat Glades.
She took the kids through several poses, some harder than others.
Tiberghien hopes the parents will do it with their kids, so they can help each other and learn a little more of the practice.
Tiberghien says, “I encourage the adults to do the yoga with the kids. It gets them working together. It’s something that mom and dad the kids can do together. And it’s just fun for the whole family.”
At the end, she showed them how to relax and wind down, which she hopes will help them cope with stressufl situations.
