Joplin school leaders looking for new JHS principal

News

Joplin school leaders are looking for a new principal to take over at Joplin High School.

The school board accepted the resignation of Shane Hopper in a closed session last night. He cited personal and professional opportunities in St. Louis as the reason for the move.

Hopper has been on the job less than a year – starting as the JHS principal last July. He will leave the post at the end of the school year.
