Joplin school district shows improvement in 2019 state review

JOPLIN, Mo. —Missouri education leaders release the annual grade card for hundreds of school districts around the state.

The Joplin school district got high marks for individual student achievement, showing that improvement year over year in the Annual Performance Report, or APR.

The district hit the 90% requirement for attendance and made improvements in the graduation rate.

That moved up to 81.9% from 80.6% the year before.
