Joplin sales tax sees continued growth

Joplin's sales tax revenue sees another month of growth.

The year to date average currently sits just under nine percent. It marks five out of six months in positive territory. The city of Joplin collects a two and five-eighths percent sales tax.

In the first three quarters of the fiscal year, that's added up to more than $29 million dollars.
