If it’s okay for adults to have a garage sale, why not kids?
That’s exactly what’s happening tomorrow at Joplin’s Memorial Hall. The event is being put on by Joplin Parks and Rec and is designed to allow young people run their own booths and sell items they use like toys, games, sports equipment and more.
“Lot of kids items mostly so kids clothes, kids toys, kids accessories, things like that,” says Jessica Johnson, Recreation Coordinator, Joplin Parks and Rec.
The event is free and open to the public. It starts at 9 a.m. and runs through 1 p.m. Johnson says there will be at least 23 tables full of items.
