Many people don’t need a reason to buy ribs, but you can do that and help out a great cause at the same time.
The Miracle League of Joplin lost its equipment shed earlier this month when it was burned to the ground by vandals. The shed, as well as everything inside it, was destroyed.
The Joplin Outlaws, which have supported the League from it’s beginning, are stepping up to the plate, so to speak, to help raise money to replace and rebuild what was lost. They will be hosting a rib cook with proceeds going towards replacing the lost equipment.
“One of the first calls we got was “how can we help”, and as a lot of people in this community know, the Outlaws are famous for their ribs and so they are hosting a rib cook for us out at Food 4 Less tomorrow and Saturday, unless we sell out tomorrow,” says Eric Secker, President, Miracle League of Joplin.
The Joplin Outlaw rib cook takes place in the Food 4 Less parking lot in Joplin from 10 am Friday morning till 7 pm. And then again Saturday morning beginning at 10 am while supplies last. The cost will be $10 dollars per slab with a portion of the sales going to the Miracle League.
