JOPLIN, Mo. — The city of Joplin invites you to, “Visit Mercy Park and the annual Holiday Tree Trail! Everyone is invited to walk the trail, vote for their favorite decorated tree, and attend special events! It’s a great place to enjoy the holiday season with family and friends!”
There are 30 businesses who have decorated a tree that are placed along the winding sidewalk of Mercy Park, enter at 2600 South Picher. They are all marked so you will know which one is your favorite so you can vote. After seeing them all you are encouraged to vote!
Tuesday evening Karen’s Dance Studio performed two numbers for the estimated crowd of 300. Howie and Bubba from KODE 12 #GoodMorningFourStates hosted the lighting and introduced Santa. It was all lit and hosted by Joplin Parks and Recreation.
Spiva Park, located on the corner of 4th and Main Streets in downtown Joplin, features a holiday light show which starts on the half-hour and runs from 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
