  • Amanda King, 35, residence unknown
  • Cody Bowles, 28, of Nevada

Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher, two tactical teams were used during the operation. Mosher said the residence was surrounded by one team while another team, using an armored vehicle, approached the residence while using a loudspeaker to attempt to call the subjects out of the residence.

Mosher says that one team was able to locate one subject asleep in a camper trailer on the backside of the property. The other team was able to take another subject into custody that exited the residence as instructed. The third subject refused to exit the residence, which resulted in a team entering the residence and taking the subject into custody without incident.

Suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was also located.

Sheriff Mosher says he would like to thank Cedar County Sheriff Jim McCrary for the great teamwork during the apprehension of three Vernon County fugitives. All three subjects were being sought on multiple Felony warrants.
