JOPLIN, Mo. — A Joplin man is killed in a late night car crash in Newton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened just before 9:30 Wednesday on Route M, just East of Granby.

20-year-old Coy Walker’s car went off the side of the road, hit a utility pole, and rolled multiple times.

Walker was thrown from the car and died on the scene.
