Joplin City Council to discuss Memorial Hall in work session

JOPLIN, Mo. — Joplin city leaders are ready to take a closer look at the future of Memorial Hall.

City council members will hold a work session on Monday to discuss a number of options. They include renovations and the addition of an annex to the nearly 100-year old building.

They’re also expected to look at the question of parking, as well as how to fund future maintenance work.
