Joplin Circles holds its 7th graduation this evening.

12 people graduated from the program tonight. Over the past five years, 85 people have graduated from circles. Circles is an organization designed to eliminate poverty in local communities by providing education, training and relationships to those living in poverty and help them break that cycle.

“Honestly there are things that I needed to learn, that I never learned growing up. And Circles was able to provide that for me, like budgeting and how to look for a new job and things like that,” says Wesley Spry.

Spry says besides learning skills like how to get out of debt or enroll in school, Circles also provides them a social network to reach out to when needed.
