JOPLIN, Mo. — The Joplin Fire Department is responding to a structure fire at a two story home near 21st and Joplin Avenue.
The call came in shortly before 8pm Monday night.
Heavy smoke has been observed coming from the back of the home.
Multiple apparatuses are currently in the area. Joplin Avenue is closed to traffic while fire crews remain on scene.
