As tempratrures drop below 20 degrees Joplin fire fighters battle a house fire.

The Joplin Fire Department was called around 6:30 for a two story home on fire near 20th and Jackson street.

No one was injured in the blaze.

JFD Chief Jim Fergursons says it’s still too early to determine the cause.

He says the bone chilling tempretures have a big effect on the water as well as the fire fighters making the job that much tougher.

METS and Joplin Police all responded as the investigation continues.
