Historic train car relocated from Joplin property

News

JOPLIN, Mo. — A local landmark was moved Tuesday.

17th and 18th Street in Joplin were closed this morning to move one of the old train cars.

The dining car was installed and renovated back in 1988 and was owned by Railroad Salvage and Restoration.

This is now the second train car to be removed from the property after the caboose to the train was moved in November of last year.
