GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — In a Facebook post by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office this morning, the Office announced its new record number of inmates within its already overcrowded jail.

As a result of the overcrowding, inmates have been sent to other Missouri jails up to 200 miles away.
