Grant funds to be used expand broadband in SWMO

SOUTHWEST MISSOURI — Southwest Missouri is getting a boost to expand broadband in rural areas.

The state emergency broadband investment program will spend more than $82,000 to boost internet connectivity.

The grant goes to Barry Technology Services for parts of McDonald and Barry Counties.

This is the second round of grants from the program, bringing the total spent to more than $3.8 million.
