Gov. Parson signs Executive Order 18-12

News

Missouri Governor Mike Parson signs an executive order aimed at making the 2020 census as accurate as possible.

Executive Order 18-12 establishes the “Missouri 2020 Complete Count Committee.” Parson says the purpose of the committee is to raise awareness for the census and coordinate messaging and outreach in hard-to-count areas of the state.

Parson says undercounted communities can loose out on a number of opportunities, like representation in state and federal government.
