Goodman Elementary to receive bigger storm shelter than planned

News

Goodman Elementary in Neosho is set to receive a storm shelter larger than what was originally planned.

Earlier this week, the Neosho School Board voted to expand the floor plan in the school’s new gym that will also function as a storm shelter. According to school board president Stuart Puckett, the shelter will be large enough to fit a regulation-size basketball court.

While the plan is still in the preliminary stages, the school is still looking to calculate how they will cover the costs.
