Four State Farm Show Changing Dates

An iconic agricultural event is undergoing some changes.

For the first time ever, the date of this year’s Four State Farm Show is going to be held several weeks earlier than usual.
This year’s  event will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday May 3rd, 4th and 5th instead of the middle to late July.
A spokesperson for Farm Talk newspaper, which puts on the show, says the reasoning is to beat the stifling heat.
She says another reason is to hopefully boost sagging attendance.
The 45th annual event is held each year one half mile east of the junction of highways 400, 69 and k 171.
