NEODESHA, Ks. — The founder of the first scholarship program making sure every eligible student has a chance to go to college is honored at the Kansas Capitol today.
The program is called the Neodesha Promise.
The founders as well as the school were honored by representatives today.
The scholarship was announced last November.
Representatives say the amazing gift will forever change Neodesha’s students and the community that supports them.
