Authorities arrested James Wainright, 36, Monday after serving a search warrant at an apartment complex off Cattleman Drive in Joplin.

Investigators say on three separate occasions, he approached boys aged 11 to 14 walking near Hatten Park in Webb City. He allegedly asked the boys to perform a sexual act while recording them. However, none of the juveniles carried out the request and notified their parents.

Wainright is now being held at the Joplin City Jail on a $250,000 cash bond for three counts of enticement of a child.
